John Lawton "Judge" Brock, 64, husband of Helen Brown Brock, died at his residence April 7, 2008, following a brief illness. A life-long resident of Central, he was the son of the late John Leland and Kathryne Lawton Brock. He was a 1965 graduate of Clemson University and was self-employed in real estate. He was a member of Mt. Zion United Methodist Church.
In addition to his wife he is survived by sons: Joseph Greenfield Brock and Patrick Lawton Brock; daughter: Jean Marie Brock; stepdaughter, Teresa Lynn Dickson and 2 grandchildren, Chandler Brock Walters and Graylan David Waters. A special thanks to Dr. Todd Crowe of Oconee Memorial Hospital for his care and support during our time of need.
Graveside services will be held at Mt Zion Cemetery in Central on Wednesday at 2pm. The service will be conducted by Rev. John Holmes. The family will greet friends immediately following the service at the graveside. Memorials may be made to OMH Hospice of the Foothills, 390 Keowee School Road, Seneca, SC 29672
