John Fred Cassell, 92, formerly of East 2nd Avenue, passed away Tuesday March 8, 2016.
Born in Pickens County, he was a son of the late John Ervin Cassell and Lucy Morgan Cassell.
Mr. Cassell loved walking, bowling, playing pool and dancing at the Pickens Senior Center.
Surviving are a sister, Ollie Powell of Greer, a brother, Edward Cassell of Hagerstown, MD and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by sisters, Martha Freeman, Clovie McCall and Bessie Boggs; and brothers, Ernest, Grady, Luther and Carl Cassell.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, March 11, 2016 at 3:00 PM in the chapel of Robinson Funeral Home-Downtown with burial to follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends prior to the service on Friday from 2:00 PM until 2:45 PM at the funeral home.
Flowers will be accepted.
The family will be at their respective homes.
