John Joseph Cepek, 75, of Piedmont, husband of Joyce Stegall Cepek, passed away Saturday, January 19, 2013 at his residence.
Born in Cook County IL., Mr. Cepek was a son of the late John Thomas and Evelyn Ann Corbitt Cepek. He retired from Ryder and was an aircraft and diesel mechanic. He served ten years in the U.S. Air Force, was a member of the American Legion of Foreign Wars, a Mason and attended Beech Springs Tabernacle Church. Mr. Cepek will be missed deeply.
Surviving, in addition to his wife of fifty-five years, are his children, John Robert (Bobby) Cepek, Deborah Cepek Cantrell, Richard Dwayne (Bo) Cepek, David Eugene Cepek and Michael Shane Cepek; older sister, Joan Dolinar; a twin sister,Jeanette Kwiatkowski; younger brother, Phillip Cepek; eleven grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren.
Memorial service will be held at 5:00 PM Tuesday, January 22, 2013 at Beech Springs Tabernacle Church.
Visitation will be from 3:30 until 4:30 PM prior to the service at the church.
