John Philip (John-Boy) Chitwood passed away on Friday, April 25, 2014 at AnMed.
John was born in Greenville County, a son of John Keith Chitwood of Spartanburg and Elizabeth (Beth) Newton Chitwood of Central.
John loved bull riding and was an artist.
Surviving in addition to his parents are a brother, Ryan Chitwood of Pickens; maternal grandparents, Philip and Betty Newton; paternal grandmother, Cecil Gossett; aunts, Judith Halverstadt, Phyllis Brooks, and Deborah Ledford; many cousins and a host of friends.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, June 20, 2014 at 7:00 PM in the chapel of Duckett-Robinson Funeral Home.
