John was born in Kenmore NY, the son of Leonard J. Deney, and Rae Lewis Meyer.
He was Vice President of the Brunswick Mill in Pickens, SC.
John was predeceased by his parents. He is survived by his son, Jack Deney of Easley; and two daughters Dianne Deney of Easley, and Jill Simmonds of Mt. Pleasant.
Services will be held at a later date.
