John Ernest Bradley, 87, of Powdersville passed away September 30, 2022. He was a loving and devoted
husband, father, granddaddy, and friend. He loved God, his family and all of his grands.
Born in Charleston, SC he was the son of Carl Fleming Bradley and Willie Lou Bradley.
He was predeceased by the love of his life, Caroldiene Berry Bradley and a son, John Ernest Bradley Jr,
and a daughter Laura Bradley Stinson.
He is survived by his daughter Tara Bradley LeCroy and son in law Teddy LeCroy as well as his seven
grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
John was owner of Walnut Creek Community and was a member of Bethesda Methodist Church in
Powdersville, SC.
He was an Air Force Veteran and was in the Korean War stationed at Roswell, New Mexico where he
flew as a gunner in a B29 bomber. He was also a Clemson graduate and worked for J.P. Stevens for 18
years.
His hobbies were boating, skiing, saltwater travel, and going to the lake.
John was a thirty third degree mason and served as state treasurer and 1994 Potentate for Hejaz Shrine
Temple, Scottish Rite.
Visitation will be Friday October 7, 2022from 11:30 to 12:45 with services to follow at 1:00 at Robinson
Funeral Home, Powdersville Road located at 1425 Powdersville Road, Easley, SC 29642. Burial will follow
immediately afterwards at Greenville Memorial Gardens.
In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to Shriners Hospital or Bethesda Methodist, Powdersville, SC.
