John Derrill Foster

John Derrill Foster, 74, of 106 Lockwood Avenue, died Wednesday, June 4, 2008, at Palmetto Health Baptist Easley.
Born in Walhalla, Mr. Foster was a son of the late Charley and Hannah Smith Foster. He worked at Ellenburg Enterprises for over 38 years and retired from Video-Matic Amusement Co. He was a member of Rocky Knoll Baptist Church of Walhalla and was a Trustee for the Pumpkintown Community Club.
Surviving are two sons and daughters-in-law, Johnny and Tracy Foster and Randy and Sara Foster, all of Easley; four daughters and sons-in-law, Teresa and Wyatt Wade, Angela and Steven Petrone and Tammy and Jimmy Crane, all of Easley, and Sharon and Philip Foster, of Belton; 19 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren. Mr. Foster was predeceased by his wife, Frances Satterfield Foster; three brothers; and two sisters.
Funeral services will be 11 AM Saturday, June 7, 2008, in the Chapel of Robinson Funeral Home-Downtown with the Reverends Charles Foster and Murray Snow officiating. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park.
Visitation will be from 9:30 to 11:00 AM Saturday at the funeral home prior to the service.
