John Michael "Jack" Gillooly, Sr., 62, of 704 Cypress Bay Lane, died Friday December 26, 2008 at St. Francis Hospital - Downtown in Greenville.

Mr. Gillooly was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, a son of Ann Dutkowsky Gillooly, of Walkersville, Maryland and the late John Warren Gillooly. Mr. Gillooly was a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh and was a U.S. Air Force veteran. He retired after 36 years as Vice-President of SunTrust Bank. He was Catholic.

Surviving in addition to his mother are his wife, Sharon Vincent Gillooly, of the home ; a son, John Michael Gillooly, Jr., of the home ; a daughter, Shelley Sikes and her husband, Eric, of Easley, SC ; a brother, James Gillooly and his wife, Anita, of Walkersville, Maryland ; a grandchild, Jackson Walter Sikes, of Easley, SC and a nephew, David Gillooly, of Baltimore, Maryland.

Funeral Services will be 10:00 AM Monday December 29, 2008 at St Andrew United Methodist Church with the Reverend Barry Cannon officiating. Burial will follow in Robinson Memorial Gardens, 1425 Powdersville Road, Easley, SC.

The body will be placed in the church at 9:30 am Monday.

The family is at the home of Shelley and Eric Sikes, 10 Porcher Lane, Easley, SC and will receive friends Sunday from 2:00 pm until 4:00 pm and also from 7:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Robinson Funeral Home - Powdersville Road, Easley.

Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society (Lymphoma Research), 154 Milestone Way, Greenville, SC 29615.
