John Francis Gross

John Francis Gross, 86, of Greenville, went home to be with Jesus Christ on April 28, 2021.
A native of Bradford, PA, John was born July 30, 1934 and was the son of the late Clayton and Frances Virginia Gross. He was an alumnus of Bradford Area High School and Greenville Technical College. John was the Plant Manager of Airco Temescall's Vacuum Coating Division.
John was a member of Rock Springs Baptist Church since 1987 and served as a Deacon and Bible Fellowship Teacher.
He is survived by his son, David Gross (Angela) of Easley; daughter, Cathie Weatherly of Beaumont, TX; three grandsons, Bartley Stockton of Dallas, TX, John Stockton of Beaumont, TX and Zachary Gross (Lauren) of Catawba, SC.
John was predeceased by his wife of 62 years, Sally Ann Gross; daughter, Karen Marie Rojas; son, John F. Gross, Jr.; four brothers, James Gross, Clayton Gross, Frederick Gross and Larry Gross.
A memorial service will be held Sunday, May 2, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. at Robinson Funeral Home, Downtown Chapel.
