John David Gwinn

John David Gwinn Jr., 59, of Easley, went home to be with his Lord and Savior Friday, September 10, 2021. Born in Greenville, he was a son of the late John David Gwinn and the late Dorothy Ware Gwinn.
Above all, John David loved God and his family. He preferred nothing more than a Harley ride with his son and close friends. You would rarely spot John David without a Clemson Tiger paw stamped somewhere on his clothing, and he thought everything looked better dipped in orange.
John David was a hard worker, a creative thinker, and a source of motivation and strength for everyone fortunate enough to know him. It was often said that "John David Gwinn was larger than life" and the memories of his charming smile, funny stories, and pure dedication to what he believed, will long be remembered.
John David is survived by his three children: Kelly Kathleen Gwinn, John David Gwinn, III and Allison Grace Gwinn, all of Easley. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his wife, Mary Jane Gwinn.
A memorial service will be livestreamed from Easley Presbyterian Church on Wednesday, September 15, 2021, at 12:00pm.
