John Hubert Hall, 75, of 104 Mark Avenue, husband of the late Evelyn Dalton Hall, died Sunday, September 20, 2009, at his home.
Born in Spartanburg County, a son of the late John Henry and Fannie Bell Potts Hall, Mr. Hall retired from the Easley Plant of Woodside Mills after thirty-one years of service, and was a member of New Life Baptist Church. He had served with the US Army.
Surviving are three sons, John Craig Hall and wife, Karen, and James Eddie Hall, all of Easley, and Robert Lynn Hall, and wife Sherrie, of Campobello; three brothers, Dewey Hall of Woodruff, Mack Hall of Asheville, NC, and Gene Hall of Orange Park, FL; four grandchildren, Victoria Moreno, Robbie Hall, Latoya Hall and Jonathon Hall; three great-grandchildren, Adrianna, Jarrett and Satoria Moreno; and special loved ones, Keith Lindsey, Bobby Cassell and Julie Doll. In addition to his wife and parents, Mr. Hall was predeceased by a daughter, Ida Jean Dalton, a brother, Hebert Hall and a sister, Zonie McMahen.
Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Friday at New Life Baptist Church with Rev. Ronnie Powell and Rev. Keith Lindsey officiating. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park.
Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. Friday at the church, prior to the service.
Memorials may be made to Hospice of the Upstate, 1835 Rogers Road, Anderson, SC 29621.
The family is at the residence.
