John Charles Henderson
March 29, 1941 — February 9, 2019
John Charles Henderson, 77, of Greenville, passed away Saturday, February 9, 2019 at Greenville Memorial Hospital.
Born in Seneca, he was the son of the late John P. and Alma Warren Henderson.
Charles retired from Judson Mill. He enjoyed horseback riding, fishing and playing pool.
Surviving, are his three children, Denise Mathis and her husband Dale, of Dacusville; Elaine Whitman and her husband Fred, of Greenville; and Matthew Henderson, of Liberty; his siblings, Shirley Powell; Jean Smith, Connie Grice; Gary B. Henderson; and Michael W. Henderson; 2 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; and the love of his life for 42 years, Joyce Henderson.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his sister, Molly King Alexander and his brother, John P. "Junior" Henderson.
A memorial service will be held Tuesday, February 12, 2019 at 2:00pm at Three & Twenty Baptist Church.
The family will receive friends Monday, February 11, 2019 from 6:00pm - 8:00pm at Robinson Funeral Home - Powdersville Road.
The family are at their respective homes.
