John Thomas Johnston, 53, of 106 LaSalle Lane, passed away Thursday, August 30, 2012.
Born in Pickens County, the son of Mary Littleton Johnston Waters of Easley and the late Thomas Hampton Johnston, Mr. Johnston retired from the textile industry and was of the Baptist faith.
Surviving, in addition to his mother, are two daughters, Kristy J. Leopard (Justin) of Powdersville, and Angie Johnston of the home; a step-daughter, April Cummings of Greenville; and two sisters, Linda Alexander (Charles) of Easley and Wanda Carlisle of Atlanta.
Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Tuesday in the chapel of Robinson Funeral Home-Downtown. Burial will follow in Norris Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 1:00 until 1:45 PM Tuesday at the funeral home, prior to the service.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the John Thomas Johnston Memorial Fund, c/o Robinson Funeral Home, P.O. Box 387, Easley, SC 29641.
The family is at the home of Linda and Charles Alexander, 117 Garden Road, Easley, SC 29640.
