John David Kellett

John David Kellett, 64, husband of Linda Reece Kellett, passed away peacefully on Saturday, June 6, 2020.
Born in Greenville, a son of the late Paul Kellett and the late Eunice Cobb Kellett, he was a loving husband, father, brother, and uncle who enjoyed woodworking, "piddling", fishing, basketball, and spending time with his family and animals.
Surviving, in addition to his wife of thirty-three years, are a son, Nathan Kellett of Columbus, OH; a nephew, Jeremy Reece of Berea; brothers, Robert Kellett (Carolyn) of Easley and Mike Kellett of Travelers Rest; sisters, Janice Slough (Richard) of Simpsonville and Patti Kellett of Cincinnati, OH; several other nieces and nephews; his dogs, Boo, Lucy, and Gracie; and his granddog, Belle.
The family will host a memorial service at 5:00 p.m. Thursday, June 11, 2020 at Mountain Springs Baptist Church, 410 Mountain Springs Road, Piedmont, SC 29673.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of the Upstate, 1835 Rogers Road, Anderson, SC 29621.
