John Theodore Kozak, Jr.Easley, SC

Mr. John Kozak, Jr., 81 of Easley, passed away Saturday, December 5, 2015 at Greenville Memorial Medical Center.

John was born September 17, 1934 in Providence, RI to the late John Theodore Sr. and Julia Kozak, and was the husband of Juliette Ingram Kozak for over 50 years.

John served in the Coast Guard before honorably being discharged.

In his late twenties, John was led to his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, by Rev. Ennio Cugini.   He and his family were led by Rev. Cugini while members of Clayville Assembly in Rhode Island.

John and his wife were members of Covenant Reformed Baptist Church in Easley for 7 years.

He is survived by his wife, Juliette Kozak; sons, John Kozak(Claudia) and Mark Kozak (Debra); daughter, Mary Pittsley (Warren); brother, Richard Kozak (Barbara); granddaughters, Saundra Dossenbach (Bill) and Lyn Streets (Bryan); grandsons, Todd Thibault (Sara), Joshua Pittsley (Melissa), and Ryan and Bradley Kozak.

Funeral service will be held Tuesday, December 8th at 11:00 am at Covenant Reformed Baptist Church, 1709 Arial Street, Easley, SC 29640, with Pastor Mark Powell officiating.   Family will receive friends at the church for half an hour prior to the service.   Burial will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park, Easley, SC.

In lieu of flowers, family has requested donations be made directly to Covenant Reformed Baptist Church, 1709 Arial Street, Easley, SC 29640.
