John Kris

John Kris, 88, of 112 Foster Avenue, died Friday June 29, 2007 at Hospice of the Upstate in Anderson.
A native of West Brownsville, Pennsylvania, he was a son of Russian immigrant parents, the late Vasili and Mary Krisfalusi. He married his beloved wife, Margaret, in 1939 and moved to Saginaw, Michigan. In 1956, John and Margaret moved to Miami, Florida where they owned Kris Interiors for many years. In 1981 they sold their business and moved to Port St. Lucie, Florida. They have lived in Easley, SC since 1988. Mr. Kris was a member of the Jehovah's Witness - West Easley Congregation.
John deeply loved his family, but, above all else, he loved his God, Jehovah. We rejoice in his example of faithfulness, and await the time when he hears Jesus call him out of the grave to be part of the paradise earth for which he longed.
Surviving are his wife, Margaret Victoria Yuhasz Kris, of the home ; a son, Timothy John Kris and his wife, Barbara, of Brasstown, NC ; two daughters, Margaret "Bunny" Ashenback and her husband, Jack and Rosanne Krstovic and her husband, Alex, all of Easley ; nine grandchildren, Jamie Jean Kris, Timothy John Kris, II, Zachary Joseph Kris, Kristopher Todd Ashenback, Jon Gardner Ashenback, Jason Alexander Krstovic, Jeremy Michael Krstovic, Elizabeth Jael Krstovic Miller and Maggie Anne Krstovic Gray ; and seven great-grandchildren.
Memorial Services will be at the Jehovah's Witness Kingdom Hall - West Easley Congregation, Saturday July 7, 2007 at 3:00 pm conducted by Mr. Bob Erdeljac.
The family is at the home and will receive frinds at the Kingdom Hall Saturday from 2:00pm until 3:00 pm.
