John Michael Little II, 56, of Easley, South Carolina, husband of Jennifer Little, passed away on Saturday, February 3, 2024, at his home.
Born in Wakefield, MA, he was the son of John Michael Little and Barbara Murphy Little. He was a devoted husband, a loving father, and cherished by family and friends.
Mike grew up to become an extraordinary individual who dedicated his life to serving others. After earning a bachelor's degree in history from the University of Colorado in Boulder, he embarked on a career in law enforcement as a police officer in Greenville, SC. His commitment and courage were evident in every aspect of his work, always striving to make the world a safer place for those around him. Mike's unwavering sense of duty led him down a new path when life took an unexpected turn. He transitioned into becoming a mail carrier for the USPS, where he continued to serve the community with the same dedication that defined his character.
Beyond his professional pursuits, Mike had an adventurous spirit that drew him to the outdoors. He found happiness in nature, whether it was skiing, fishing, hiking, camping, or even scuba diving, he was always eager to explore and embrace the thrills life had to offer. Some of his most cherished moments were spent on the back of his Harley, or out on the lake with his beloved family by his side. As a true family man, he loved spending quality time with his loved ones above all else.
His passions extended far and wide— he was an avid supporter of the New England Patriots football team. Additionally, he delighted in exploring new bourbons and collecting firearms. He and Jennifer built a strong foundation filled with countless beautiful memories that will forever be treasured by her and their children.
He is survived by his wife, Jennifer Little. His sons, John Little III, Maverick Little, Harrison Monteith (Camden), Jack Little, Cameron Monteith, Andrew Little, Brady Little, Brody Little; his daughter Savannah Little; his parents, John Michael and Barbara Little; his sister Jennifer M. Little; his sister-in-law Jessica Byrd (Alex); and his nieces and nephews Katie Harevich, Casey Harevich, Joseph J. Vito, Zachary Byrd, Hailey Byrd, and David Byrd.
