On November 3, John A. Maddalena of Clarence, NY went home to be with the Lord. 

Born on May 30, 1932, John lived a long and healthy life. He was a devoted husband of 60 years to Franca (nee Cameli) Maddalena; loving father to Frank and Gabriele (Kimberly) Maddalena; adoring Nonno to Anna and Anthony Maddalena; dear brother of Louise (Tony) Patalano and the late Ralph (Alice) Maddalena; fond brother-in-law of Alida (Nicola) Petrollino, Antonio (M. Assunta) Cameli and the late Filomena (Nicola) Sardella, Pietro (Trudi) Cameli and Elio (Pina) Cameli; caring uncle, great uncle, and cousin to his numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins in the U.S., Canada, and Italy. 

John was born and raised in the Bronx, NY and spent his career working in the textile industry in New York City. He treasured time spent with his family, loved his country, enjoyed cheering on the New York Yankees, and could never pass up a good cup of coffee and a sweet. 

A committal service will be held on Monday, November 11, 2024, at 3:30 PM at the Glen Vista Mausoleum of Robinson Memorial Gardens. 

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. 2000 Town Center Suite 1730, Southfield, MI 48075.
