John David McDaniel, Jr., 74, of Greenville Highway, passed away Tuesday, October 16, 2018.

Born in Greenville County, he was the son of the late John David McDaniel, Sr. and Catherine O'Dell McDaniel.

David was a graduate of Clemson University and owner of McDaniel Implement in Easley. He was a Cowboy at heart who enjoyed caring for his horses. He was a member of Liberty First Baptist Church and served his country in the US Army during the Vietnam War.

Surviving are a sister, Rebecca McDaniel of Cary, NC; a special friend, Edwina Jackson of Seneca; nieces, Catherine Hair DeBellis of Austin, TX and Lindsay Hair Melzi of Jupiter, FL. Also, he is survived by several cousins.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, October 18, 2018, at 3:00 PM in the chapel of Robinson Funeral Home-Downtown with burial to follow in Hillcrest Memorial Park in Pickens.

The family will receive friends prior to the service on Thursday from 2:00 PM until 2:45 PM at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Liberty First Baptist Church, 400 Edgemont Avenue, Liberty, SC 29657 or Pickens County Christian Learning Centers, Released Time Ministry, 123 Fleetwood Drive, Easley, SC 29640.

The family will be at their respective homes.
