John Wilfred McGee

Mr. John Wilfred McGee, Jr., 70, of 416 Duvall St., passed away Monday, October 22, 2012 at St. Francis Hospital.

Born February 20, 1942 in Savannah, GA., he was the son of the late John McGee, Sr. and the late Ruby Moye McGee. Mr. McGee was a US Coast Guard veteran and retired from Charleston Memorial Hospital. He was a simple man who loved to hunt and fish.

He is survived by his sons, Jeff Speller and Ralph Speller; daughters, Shana Merck, JonAnn McGee and Lori Newton; and eleven grandchildren.

Memorial services will be conducted at 3:00 PM Friday, October 26, 2012 in the chapel of Robinson Funeral Home-Powdersville Road.

Memorials may be made to Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation in Memory of John Wilfred McGee, Jr..
