John Moose, Jr.
Pendleton
John Franklin Moose, Jr., 71, passed away at his home on Friday, February 24, 2017.
Mr. Moose was born in Hickory, NC and was a son of the late John Franklin Moose, Sr. and Annie Stout Moose. He was a materials manager for Isola Company and Westinghouse, a thirty second degree Scottish Rite Mason, a U. S. Air Force veteran having served in Vietnam from 1967 to 1971, and a member of Pendleton United Methodist Church.
Surviving are one son, John S. Moose of Pendleton; a daughter, Sarah Maney of Aiken, SC; one brother, Don E.(Deborah) Moose of Durham, NC; two sisters, Juanita Craig (Tommy) of Harrisburg, NC, and Ruby Johannsen of Greensboro, NC; one grandson, Ryan Maney.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister Jo Ann Witherspoon.
A celebration of life service will be Sunday, February 26, 2017, at 2:00 PM in the chapel of Duckett-Robinson Funeral Home, 108 Cross Creek Road, Central, SC.
The family will receive friends following the service at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of the Upstate, 1835 Rogers Road, Anderson, SC 29621.
