John C. MorrisSeneca, SCJohn Charles Morris, 85, of 702 S. Crestview Drive, husband of Brenda Peace Crowe Morris, died Monday, November 17, 2015 at his home.Born in Dayton, Ohio, he was a son of the late John G. and Cora Belle Pottle Morris. He was a Korean Veteran of the US Air Force, studied in the field of Engineering at the University of Southern California and served again with the Air Force and reached the rank of Captain. Upon his discharge from the Air Force he worked until retirement with Honeywell Corporation as an Aerospace Engineer. He was active in Radio Controlled Aircraft and was a member of Black Sheep RC Club in Anderson. He was a member of St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church in Seneca.Surviving in addition to his wife, are a son, John M. (Melissa) Morris of Harpersfield, NY; daughters Beverly O'Donnell of Longmont, Colorado, Carol (Dan) Smith of San Diego, CA and Jeanne Costello of Millers Place, NY; stepson, Dale Crowe of Seattle, WA; stepdaughters, Denise Brooks of Seneca, SC and Darlene Holder Price of Walhalla, SC; sister, Shirley Arnett of San Diego, CA; 14 grandchildren; and 15 great grandchildren. He was also survived by the mother of his children, Jean Klement of Millers Place, NY.In addition to his parents he was predeceased by his second wife, Lillian Jesshovan Morris.A Mass of the Resurrection will be 11 AM, Friday, November, 20, 2015 at St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church in Seneca with Father Bernard Okokon officiating.A Celebration of Life ceremony will follow the service at the church.Condolences may be expressed online at www.robinsonfuneralhomes.com or at the funeral home.
