John Henry Paxton, 68, of 2 Tall Oaks Drive, went to be with the Lord Friday July 4, 2008 at St. Francis Hospital.
Mr. Paxton was born in Simpsonville, a son of the late Charles Henry and Cordelia Parker Paxton. He retired from M.P. Husky Company and attended Living Praise Fellowship.
Surviving are his wife, Margaret Andrews Paxton, of the home ; a daughter, Pamela Paxton Wiaczek and her husband, Marty, Sr., of Westfield, NJ ; a brother James T. Paxton and his wife, Marie, of Fountain Inn ; a sister, Ann Paxton Quinton and her husband, Tracy, of Simpsonville ; and one grandchild, Marty Wiaczek, Jr., of Westfield, NJ.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Robert Leon Paxton and brothers, Clifford S. Paxton, W.J. Paxton, Mack Paxton, D. Jewel Paxton and Twyman F. Paxton.
Funeral Services will be 11:00 AM Monday in the Chapel of Robinson Funeral Home - Powdersville Road, Easley, with the Reverend Delton Hand, Jr. and the Reverend Tony Goodwin officiating. Burial will follow in Graceland Cemetery, West.
The family is at the home and will receive friends Sunday from 3:00 PM until 5:00 PM at the funeral home.
