John Michael Phillips died Sunday, April 26, 2020, from an extended illness.
Michael was born July 29, 1948, to Grace Ramsey Phillips and Ernest Y. Phillips.
He graduated Easley High School and Furman University.
Michael retired from the state of South Carolina as a real estate appraiser. Afterwards, he became self-employed as an appraiser concentrating on conservation properties for Nature Land Conservancy and Upstate Forever.
Michael chose to be cremated and his ashes will be scattered in the Eastatoee Valley of Pickens, SC, a place that he loved.
A memorial service will take place this summer.
Michael was a good and dearly loved man and will be missed by many.
