John Lee Rampey, 76, of 400 Rampey Street, died Saturday, September 25, 2010, at Baptist Easley Hospital.
Born in Pickens County, Mr. Rampey was a son of the late W. Oscar and Geneva Crowe Rampey. He graduated from Liberty High School and was a member of Redemption World Outreach Center. Mr. Rampey was a U.S. Air Force Veteran of the Korean War.
Surviving are his wife of fifty-eight years, Patsy Walker Rampey, of the home; a daughter, Summer Raines of Easley; three brothers, Jack Rampey of Norris, and Joe Rampey and Jim Rampey, both of Liberty; three sisters, Janice Dickard and Judy Rampey, both of Easley, and Joan Dixon of Boynton Beach, FL; four grandchildren, Jonathan, Kristan, and Victoria McDonald and Alexandria Medlin; and one great-granchild, Ella Weber.
Graveside funeral services will be 3:00 PM Monday at Robinson Memorial Gardens, 1425 Powdersville Road, Easley.
The family will receive friends at Robinson Funeral Home-Downtown Monday from 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM.
