John Andrew Sayre, 46, husband of Christine Coby Sayre, died Monday, May 11, 2015 at MUSC.
Born in Winchester, IN, he was a son of Rick and Judie Garringer Sayre of Ridgeville, IN. John was a graduate of Ball State University and Purdue University. He was a Nuclear Equipment Operator with Duke Energy. He enjoyed working on John Deere tractors, rebuilding cars, hiking and his family.
Surviving in addition to his wife, are two sons, John Kyle Sayre and Justice Andrew Sayre both of the home; step-daughters, Caitlin Crouse of Farmland, IN and Cortnee Crouse of the home; sisters, Marcy Raynes of Sache, TX, Shelley Meranda of Gaston, IN and Lori Sayre of Farmland, IN.
The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 PM, Thursday, at Duckett-Robinson Funeral Home, Central, SC.
Funeral services will be 4 PM, Sunday, May 17 at Thornburg Memorial Chapel in Parker City, IN.
The family requests no flowers and memorials may be made to the charity of one's choice.
