John Baker Tenney, 59, of 123 Walnut Street died Tuesday, November 11, 2014 in Greenville.
Born in Wynnewood, PA he was the son of Janet Baker Tenney of Audubon, PA and the late Charles Iredell Tenney. John was a retired architect. He was a graduate of Clemson University and a member of Clemson United Methodist Church.
Surviving are his mother, Janet Baker Tenny, his son, James Baker Tenney and his wife Amanda Nicole Proulx Tenney of Clarksville, TN; his daughter, Ruth Tenney of Clemson, SC; sisters, Eleanor Tenney Miller and her husband, David Stafford Miller III, of Vienna, VA, Elizabeth Iredell Tenney of Collegeville, PA; granddaughter, Kendall Aubrey Tenney; and the mother of his children, Regina Mattox Tenney of Clemson.
Funeral services will be 11 AM, Saturday in the chapel of Duckett-Robinson Funeral Home, Central, SC with Rev. Keith Ray officiating. The family will greet friends immediately following the services at the funeral home.
A graveside service will be held Saturday, November 22nd at Fairview Cemetery in West Hartford, CT.
