John Vinson Wardlaw

John Vinson Wardlaw, 77, husband of Marie Wood Wardlaw passed away Monday, September 20, 2021 at his home in Pendleton.
John was born in Anderson County, a son of the late Christopher Columbus and Janelle Lula Gambrell Wardlaw. He was a welder with Duke Power for over 26 years. He was a veteran of the SC Army National Guard and was of the Church of God of Prophecy faith.
Surviving in addition to his wife of the home are two daughters, Tammie (Jay) Lillie of Safety Harbor, Fl and Sandy (Jason) James of Sandy Springs, SC; brothers, Gary Edgar Wardlaw and Dexter Lee Wardlaw; and sister, Margaret Faye Wardlaw all of Anderson, SC; grandson, Caden James; and granddaughter, Cassidy James.
Funeral services will be 2 PM, Thursday, September 23, 2021 in the chapel of Duckett-Robinson Funeral Home with burial to follow in Memory Gardens.
The family will receive friends from 1 to 1:50 PM, Thursday prior to the service at the funeral home.
