John Marvin Watson, 74, of 290 John Holiday Road, died Saturday, July 11, 2009 at An Med Health Medical Center.
Born in Pickens County, a son of the late Frank Harvey and Tecora Madden Watson, he was a retired employee of Central Textiles was of the Baptist faith and a Korean Era Veteran of the Army.
Surviving are his wife Frances Juanita Nix Watson of the home; one son, Anthony Marvin Watson of Six Mile; his twin sister, Martha Watson of Central; and one grandson, John Anthony Watson of Six Mile.
Graveside services will be 1 PM, Monday at Camp Creek Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Doyle Barker officiating.
The family will greet friends immediately following the service at the cemetery.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to The Bus Fund, Pine Grove Baptist Church, Sunset, SC 29685.
