John J. "Jackson" Wyatt, 88, husband of Lillie Mae "Sue" Vaughan Wyatt, went to be with the Lord and Savior, Saturday, January 6, 2024. 

Born in Greenville County on December 28, 1935, he was a son of the late Willard Vance and Ellie Nimmons Wyatt.

John enjoyed his work. He was known as a "jack-of-all-trades" having worked different jobs in, manufacturing, welding, and landscaping. He also enjoyed gardening. 

In addition to his wife of almost 70 years, John is survived by his sons; John "Jackie" Wyatt (Joyce) of Norris, Tony Wyatt of Dacusville, Ricky Wyatt (Ann) of Marietta, Vance Wyatt (Lisa) of Pickens, Scott Wyatt (Judi) of Pickens, and Timmy Wyatt of Dacusville; his daughters Linda Kitsos (Dean) of Simpsonville, and Ellie Collins (Jody) of Dacusville; fourteen grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers; Pickens "Pick" Wyatt, and Carl T. Wyatt; and his sisters; Ella Carter, Betty Jean Crowe, Esther Pitts, and Mae Heaton.

A graveside service will be held Wednesday, January 10, 2024, at 2:00 PM at Cross Road Baptist Church Cemetery, 160 Cross Roads Church Road, Easley, SC 29640.
