Johnny Randall "Chip" Armstrong, 54, of 131 Sylvan Court, died Thursday, October 11, 2007 at his residence.
Born in Greenville, a son of the late John L. and Mildred Hollingsworth Armstrong, he was a former employee with A and A Fire Protection in Greenville and a member of Peter's Creek Baptist Church.
Surviving are two sons, William Pitts of Taylors and David Armstrong of Raleigh, NC; three daughters, Melinda Weldon of Greenville, Kimberly Young and Heather Armstrong both of Easley; one brother, James Armstrong of Marietta; two sisters, Reba Gilstrap of Easley and Dale Moser of Greenville, SC; a step-mother, Evelyn Armstrong of Welford; and 10 grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 2 PM, Saturday in the Chapel of Robinson Funeral Home-Downtown with burial in Peter's Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.
Visitation will be 6 to 8 PM, Friday at the funeral home.
The family is at the home.
