Johnny Willis Gordon, Sr., 64, of 310 Sharon Lane, died Thursday, January 31, 2008 at his home.

Born in Aiken, he was a son of the late Floyd Willis and Ola Mae Weathersbee Gordon. Mr. Gordon worked as an aerospace mechanic for Lockheed Martin and was a member of worker's union AFL-CIO. He was a Veteran of the US Army, was a former Pastor of Trinity Chapel Pentecoatal Holiness Church in Aberdeen, WA, was a member of Gloverville Pentecostal Holiness Church in Gloverville, SC, and currently attended Easley First Pentecostal Holiness Church. He loved fishing, working on small engines and tinkering with things.

Surviving are his wife, Mina Grace McBain Gordon of the home; two sons, Johnny Willis Gordon, Jr., Daniel Floyd Gordon and wife Shannon, all of Easley; two sisters, Naomi Gordon Ryals of Piedmont, Phillis Wanda Keene of Pelzer; and two grandsons, Tyler Gordon and Brandon Gordon. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a son, Michael Robert "Mike" Gordon; and two brothers, Finley Eugene Gordon, and David Edmond Gordon.

Funeral services will be 11 AM Monday in the chapel of Robinson Funeral Home - Downtown with Reverend Dr. Ronald Moore and Reverend Furman Entrekin officiating. Graveside services will be 4:00 PM Monday at Langley Cemetery in Langley, SC with Reverend James Roland Smith officiating.

Visitation will be Saturday night from 6:00 until 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
