Mr. Johnny "Joe" Lee Granger, 89, husband of the late Charlotte Leoma Deal Granger, passed away Wednesday, February 4, 2015 at his home.
Mr. Granger was born in Pickens County, SC to the late Doyle and Ida Stansell Granger. He retired from the Sam Lollis Garage where he was a mechanic and was a member of Victory Baptist Church.
Surviving are two sons, Charles Granger and Tim Granger, both of Liberty, SC; daughters, Brenda Rogers and Hazel Bryant, both of Easley, SC and Darlene Morgan, of Pickens, SC; brothers, Fred "Tip" Granger and Harold Granger, both of Easley, SC; 15 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren and 2 great, great-grandchildren.
In addition to his wife and parents, Mr. Granger was preceded in death by sons, Bobby Granger and Danny Granger; brothers, William Granger and Elijah Granger; sisters, Addie McQueen and Mary Hester.
Funeral services will be 2:00 pm Saturday in the Chapel of Robinson Funeral Home - Downtown with the Reverend Greg Phillips and the Reverend Adam Stone officiating. Burial will follow in Hillcrest Memorial Park.
Visitation will be from 12:30 pm until 1:45 pm Saturday, prior to the service, at the funeral home.
The family is at the home of Hazel Bryant, 7519 Hwy 81, North, Easley, SC 29642.
Memorials may be made to Victory Baptist Church, 1832 Powdersville Road, Easley, SC 29642.
