Johnny Oscar Holcombe, 81, of Pleasant View Road, passed away Monday, August 28, 2017 at the home of his daughter.
Born in Anderson County, he was a son of the late Parley and Mary Finley Holcombe.
Mr. Holcombe was formerly employed with Woodside Mill in Easley and was a roofing contractor. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, gardening and camping.
Surviving are the mother of his daughter, Beulah Galloway Holcombe; a daughter, Lisa Renay Talbert Edens of Easley; two grandchildren, Chris Talbert and Teddy Edens; three great grandchildren, Dallas Lauren, Joshua and Eden; two sisters, Earlene Roper of Easley and Jewel Durham of Blacksburg, SC; and a brother, J. Roy Holcombe of Easley.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his siblings, Beatrice, Eula, Lib, Verdearbelle, Berthie Ellen, James and Herman.
Graveside services will be held on Friday, September 1, 2017 at 3:00 PM in Greenlawn Memorial Park with the Reverend Dr. Tina Woody, Chaplain of PruittHealth Hospice, officiating.
The family will receive friends prior to the service on Friday from 1:30 PM until 2:30 PM at Robinson Funeral Home-Downtown.
