Jolly L. Chapman

Jolly L. Chapman, Jr.Central, SCJolly Ledford Chapman, Jr., husband of Sue McCrory Chapman died Saturday, April 2, 2016 at Cottingham Hospice House in Seneca.Born in Central, he was the son of the late Maude Davis and Jolly L. Chapman Sr.  Jolly was a graduate of Central High School and a veteran of the US Air Force.  He was a retired supervisor with Libco Carpet Mill in Liberty and was a member of The Mount Church, Clemson.Surviving in addition to his wife are two sons, Mark (Gina) Chapman and Gregg (Lynne) Chapman all of Central; daughter-in-law, Ruth Ann Chapman of Central; grandchildren, Elijah (Amanda) Chapman, Hannah Chapman, Leah Chapman, Zachary Chapman, Sarah Chapman, Elli Chapman, Erica Chapman and Belle Chapman; and a great granddaughter, Sadie Chapman.In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a son Keith Chapman; and sister, Sue Phillips.Funeral services will be 3:30 PM, Monday in the chapel of Duckett-Robinson Funeral Home with burial to follow in Memory Gardens.The family will receive friends from 2 to 3:20 PM, Monday prior to the service at the funeral home.The family is at the home.In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to The Mount, 827 Old Greenville Highway, Clemson, SC 29631.Condolences may be expressed online at www.robinsonfuneralhomes.com or at the funeral home.
