Jonathan Paul Gilmer

Jonathan Paul Gilmer, 47, of Easley, passed away February 19, 2021.
Born in Greenville, he was the son of Paul "Len" Gilmer and the late Linda Sheppard Gilmer. Jonathan graduated from Pickens High School. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle and being with his family and friends. Mr. Gilmer was a member of Cross Roads Baptist Church and attended Five Point Church. He will be remembered as a Jack of All Trades.
He is survived by his wife, Christine Van Norman; children, Paula Gilmer, Ahmi Gilmer, Takara Van Norman and Nikki Smith; father, Paul "Len" Gilmer; sisters, Bethany Cassell (Justin) and Lynn Lyda; brother, J.R. Lyda; grandmother, Dorothy "Momma Dot" Sheppard; nephews, Braxton Cassell and Zachary Hawkins.
Funeral service will be held Thursday, February 25, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. at Cross Roads Baptist Church. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
The family will receive friends prior to the service from 1:00 p.m. until 1:45 p.m. in the church.
