Joseph "Joe" Harold Haverland

Joseph "Joe" Harold Haverland, 76, husband of Mary Goodman Haverland, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, June 30, 2020.
Born in Akron, OH, he was the son of the late Joseph G. Haverland and the late Ruth Mays Dowling. Mr. Haverland proudly served his country during Vietnam for two tours of duty with the U.S. Navy. He enjoyed hot rods and spending time with his family. Mr. Haverland was a retired metallurgist for United Technology after thirty-one years of service.
Surviving, in addition to his wife of fifty-seven years, are a daughter, Dana Haverland Allen (Jon) of Madeira Beach, FL; and a brother, R. E. Haverland (Denise) of Lake City, FL.
A private entombment will be held at Robinson Memorial Gardens Chapel of Reflection Mausoleum.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Bon Secours St. Francis Homecare, 10 Patewood Drive Building 6, Suite 300, Greenville, SC 29615 or to Purple Heart Homes Golden Corner Chapter, P.O. Box 562, Anderson, SC 29622.
