Joseph Albert "Joe" Malek

Joseph Albert ”Joe” Malek, 86, of Easley, loving husband of Martha Robinson Malek, passed away on Monday, February 27, 2023, at his home.

Born in Cicero, Illinois, he was a son of the late Joseph and Eva Schahczenski Malek. Joe retired from  Coleman Company as a parts and service representative. He proudly served our Country in the US Air Force and enjoyed tending to his vegetable garden and fruit trees. He was a loving husband, father,  grandfather, and great-grandfather who will be missed by all who knew him.

In addition to his loving wife of 64 years, he is survived by his two children, Beverly Malek and Joseph Andrew Malek (Tammy); two grandchildren, Brittney Whitfield (Zachary) and Joshua Malek (Elizabeth); and two great-grandchildren, Katherine, and Kaitlyn Whitfield.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a great-granddaughter, Madelyn Whitfield, and his brothers and sisters.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, March 1, 2023, in the Chapel of Robinson Funeral Home – Powdersville Road. Burial will follow the service at Robinson Memorial Gardens.
