Joseph Michael Nebesky, 80, of Clemson, died Wednesday, November 28, 2012 at the Rainey Hospice House in Anderson, SC.
Born in New York, NY, he was a son of the late Michael Joseph and Suzanne Maguire Nebesky. He was a graduate of and earned his Masters Degree from Fordham University. Joe was a retired sales and marketing executive with IBM and taught Mathematics at Tri County Technical College. He was a member of St. Andrews Catholic Church in Clemson, SC.
Surviving are a son, Michael Nebesky (Marie) of Clemson; daughters, Kristen Nebesky Lawson (Barry) of Columbia, SC and Suzanne Nebesky of Tampa, FL; and grandchildren, Alena and Addison Nebesky.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his wife, Maura McManus Nebesky.
The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 PM, Friday at Duckett-Robinson Funeral Home, Central, SC and from 9 to 10 AM, Saturday at St. Andrews Catholic Church in Clemson.
A funeral mass will be held at 10 AM, Saturday at St. Andrews Catholic Church with Father Joe Ciccone officiating.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to RJM Ministry Fund, 821 Varnum St. N.E., Washington, DC 20017.
The family is at the home of Michael and Marie Nebesky, 201 Westcott Drive, Clemson, SC 29631.
