Joseph Lee "Joey" Seigle, II

Joseph Lee “Joey” Seigle, 62, of Central, husband to the late Sharon O’Neal Seigle, passed away September 4, 2026.

Born in Anderson, he was the son of the late William Robert Seigle and Evelyn Delores Crowe Seigle. Joey grew up in Central and graduated from D.W. Daniel High School in 1982. He went on to work in the family business, Seigle Grading, for many years before transitioning to Pickens County, where he currently worked at the Pickens County Landfill. Joey enjoyed going to his brother’s farm, riding his Harley Davidson, going to the mountains, watching Andy Griffith and bush hogging his mother-in-law’s pasture. His greatest joy was his family, especially his children and grandchildren. He was a faithful member of Prayer Baptist Church.

Joey is survived by his children, Robby Seigle, Nicole Potts (Josh), and Joseph Seigle, III; grandchildren, Gracie Seigle, Paisley Potts, Liam Seigle, Avery Seigle, and Levi Seigle; sister, Sandra Cagle (Tony).

He was predeceased by his wife, parents, and brother, Tony Seigle.

The family will receive friends Monday, September 7, 2026 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Duckett-Robinson Funeral Home.

Funeral service will be Tuesday, September 8, 2026 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Duckett-Robinson Funeral Home with Rev. Jimmy Anthony officiating. Burial will follow in Memory Gardens.

The family will be at their respective homes.
