Joseph Bruce Tate

Joseph Bruce Tate, 87, passed away peacefully on Monday, September 24, 2018.

Born in Powdersville, a son to the late Jeff S. Tate and the late Vennie Lou Looper Tate, he was a loving father, grandfather, and great-grandfather who enjoyed walking and cooking. Mr. Tate was a cherished member of Rock Springs Baptist Church.

Surviving are sons, Rick Tate of Easley and Stephen Tate of Greenville; grandchildren, Teilah Tate of Easley and Kimberly Wilson (Brad) of Pickens; and great-grandchildren, Brendan Wilson, Jeremiah Wilson, and Harlyn Wilson, all of Pickens.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a brother, Floyd Tate.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 27, 2018 at The Chapel of Robinson Funeral Home - Powdersville Road. Burial will follow in Rock Springs Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 26, 2018 at the funeral home.
