Lavada Stephens Holloway, 82, of 193 Horseshoe Road, died Tuesday, February 9, 2010 at her home.
Born in Greenville County, a daughter of the late Matthew Ernest and Selda Gantt Stephens, Mrs. Holloway was a retired nurses aid and a member of LifeChurch in Dacusville.
Surviving are her husband, Julian Holloway, of the home; two sons, Julian Holloway Jr. (Gail) of Dacusville; Steve Holloway (Susan) of Easley; one daughter, Linda Baker (Sam) of Dacusville; one brother, Bill Stephens of Dacusville; two sisters, Sybil Shelton of Easley; and Louise Talley of Sunset; four grandchildren and three great-granchildren. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Holloway was predeceased by one brother.
Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Friday at LifeChurch, Dacusville, with the Reverend Chad Albertson officiating. Burial will follow in the Jones Hill Church of God Cemetery, Marietta.
Visitation will be Friday from 12:30 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at the church prior to the service.
The body is at Robinson Funeral Home - Downtown and will be placed in the church 11:30 a.m. Friday, prior to visitation.
