Joy Swayze age 79 of Greenville died on February 26, 2024.

She was born on September 11, 1944 to Ernest Benbrook and Margaret Degraw Benbrook. She loved shopping, oil painting, and antiques. She ran a bed and breakfast inn in Cape Cod with her husband, Leroy,for many years. She was also a member of the Red Hat Society.

Joy is survived by a daughter, Susan McMaster (William); a son, Carl Anderson; grandchildren, Nicholas Nathan Rylee, Zack Morin (Leslie), Ryan Morin (Leighann), and Meghan Morin; and one great-grandson, Jasper Morin. She was predeceased by her parents, and her husband, Leroy Robert Swayze.

A funeral mass will be held on Friday, March 1, 2024 at 11 AM at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church. Burial to follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park, Easley.
