Joyce Gillespie Love, 79, widow of Fred L. Love, passed peacefully into God's open arms Sunday, July 2, 2006. A native of Pendleton she was the daughter of the late Cleo Patterson and Hattie Mae Phillips Gillespie. She was a loving and beloved mother and wife. She was a longtime resident of Charlotte, N.C.
She is survived by her only child, Candice Carroll, her son-in-law, Jim Carroll and her four grandchildren, Jim Carroll, IV, Amanda Carroll, Allison Carroll, and Kathleen Carroll.
Funeral Services will be held Saturday at 1:00pm in the chapel of Duckett-Robinson Funeral Home with burial to follow in Memory Gardens in Clemson. The Family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday from 6:00-8:00pm. Duckett-Robinson Funeral Home, Central-Clemson Commons, is assisting the family with the arrangements.
