Joyce Virginia Beatty Nimmons, 67, of 115 Shirley Street, died Sunday, September 30, 2007, at Oconee Memorial Hospital.
Born in Oconee County, a daughter of the late Claude and Estelle Hulsey Beatty, Mrs. Nimmons was a homemaker and a member of Flat Rock Baptist Church.
Surviving are her husband, Billy Nimmons of the home; two brothers; Roy Beatty of Gastonia, NC, and Tommy Beatty of Seneca; three sisters, Geneva Donald of Seneca, and Nell Patterson and Betty Foster, both of Gastonia, NC. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Nimmons was predeceased by a son, Robert Nimmons.
Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday in the chapel of Robinson Funeral Home-Downtown, Easley. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park.
Visitation will be from 10:00 until 11:00 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home, prior to the service.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Joyce Nimmons Fund, c/o Robinson Fumeral Home, P.O. Box 387, Easley, SC 29641.
The family is at the home of her sister, Geneva Donald, 156 Donald Road, Seneca, SC 29678.
