Joyce Duckett Ricker, 59, of Clemson, went to be with God on Friday, August 27, 2010, at Cottingham Hospice House, Seneca, S.C.
Born in Anderson, Mrs. Ricker was a daughter of Thelma Lucille Bowen Duckett of Anderson and the late Bill Duckett. She was employed with Duke Energy for 29 years. Mrs. Ricker was a member of First Wesleyan Church/Alive.
Surviving in addition to her mother are her husband of thirty-two years, John M. Ricker, of the home; and daughter, Mandy Joy Ricker of Clemson; two brothers, Pastor Dale Duckett and Jackie Duckett, both of Anderson; and a sister, Brenda Allinen of Anderson. She was predeceased by a brother, Tony Duckett; and sister, Faye Searcy.
Funeral services will be 3:00 PM Sunday in the chapel of Duckett-Robinson Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Memory Gardens.
Visitation will be from 1:30 to 3:00 PM Sunday at the funeral home prior to the service.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the First Wesleyan Church/Alive Bulding Fund, P.O. Box 1020; SWU 1845; Central, SC 29630.
