Joyce Bray Foster Sheppard, 73, of 205 Peppercorn Way, had a sweet, sweet, spirit and was a woman of mighty faith who believed Jesus was Lord and that he could perform great miracles. She was healed by going home to sing with Jesus on Tuesday, January 1, 2008 at Palmetto Health Baptist Easley.

Born in New Mauldin, Surry, England, she was a daughter of the late John David and Rose Dickinson Bray. She was retired as an English Nanny and was a member of Easley Church of God. She loved Jesus, her family, babies, fruit cake, cheese, gardening, and shopping.

Surviving are two sons, Clayton Paul Foster, III and wife Tracey of Mt. Pleasant, SC, Derik John Foster and wife Sandra of Lincolnton, NC; a daughter, Karen Foster Brooks and husband Steve of Dallas, NC; four granddaughters, Fawn Foster of the home, Treasure Foster of Lincolnton, NC, Lauren Foster, Bobbye Foster, both of Mt. Pleasant, SC; and two beloved cats, Muffin and Baby. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Clayton Paul Foster, Jr.

Funeral services will be 3:00 PM Thursday at Easley Church of God with burial to follow in Robinson Memorial Gardens.

The body is at Robinson Funeral Home - Downtown where the family will receive friends Wednesday night from 6:00 until 8:00 PM and will be placed in the church at 2:00 PM on Thursday.

Flowers are accepted, or memorials may be made to Easley Church of God; 511 W. Main Street; Easley, SC 29640.
