Joyce Venable Wallace, 67, of 466 Ambler School Road, passed away Thursday, February 13, 2014 at Baptist Easley Hospital.
Born in Missouri, a daughter of the late Carl and Helen Nipper Venable, Mrs. Wallace was a licensed practical nurse and a homemaker.
Surviving are her husband, Gordon Wallace of the home; a son Jody Wallace and wife, Tammy, of Greenville; a daughter, Tina Floyd and husband, Billy, of Centerville, GA and Joy Brown and husband, Curt, of Forreston, IL; two brothers, Jimmy Venable and Mike Venable, both of Rockford, IL; three sisters, Linda Adkisson, Lois Johnson and Debra Opsahl, all of Rockford, IL; grandchildren, Amy Sherman, Katherine Hendricks, Ethan Hendricks, Nathan Howe and Mikayla Brown, step-grandchildren, Amanda Floyd, Adam Brown, Andrew Brown, Cylee Brown and Chris Wilson; and a great-grandson, Alex Sherman.
Funeral services will be at 1:00 PM Tuesday in the chapel of Robinson Funeral Home-Downtown. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park.
Visitation will be from 11:00 AM until 12:45 PM Tuesday at the funeral home, prior to the service.
The family is at the residence.
