Judah Den Bounyavong of Easley, South Carolina, seven week old infant son of Nick and Sydney Bounyavong, passed away peacefully on September 24, 2026.

Born on August 4, 2026, in Greenville, Judah blessed his family with seven weeks of profound love and purpose. Throughout his brief time, Judah was cared for by the dedicated medical team in the NICU at Prisma Health Greenville Memorial Hospital. Though his days were spent in the quiet rhythm of the nursery, each moment was filled with the fierce devotion of his parents, the gentle touch of those who loved him, and a lifetime’s worth of tenderness. His life, while far too short, left an indelible mark on the hearts of everyone who prayed for, visited, and held him close.

In addition to his parents, Judah is survived by his maternal grandparents, Randy and Sami Schmidt; paternal grandparents, Den and Joy Bounyavong; two aunts, Olivia Echols (Derrick), and Natalie Bounyavong; an uncle, Isaac Schmidt; as well as numerous extended family members who will carry his memory forward with enduring grace.

The family extends their sincere gratitude to the doctors and nurses of Prisma Health NICU for their steadfast compassion and tireless care.

Funeral services will be held at 5:30 PM on Saturday, September 26, 2026, at Look Up Lodge, 100 Look Up Lodge Road, Travelers Rest, South Carolina 29690. Burial will be private in Robinson Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM until 5:30 PM, Saturday, September 26, 2026, at Look Up Lodge prior to the service.
