Judy Bice Bates, 68, of Ruhamah Road, passed away Wednesday, January 3, 2018.

Born in Central, SC, she was the daughter of the late Cecil and Helen Suttles Bice.

Judy was retired from Walmart in Easley after 39 years of dedicated service and was a member of Central First Baptist. She loved her family, especially her grandchildren, and enjoyed shopping and traveling.

Surviving are her husband of the home, Don G. Bates; children, Jennifer Arblaster (Dan) of Easley, Christopher Bates (Missi) of Easley and Mandy Stock (George) of Pickens; her pride and joy, her grandchildren, Michael Arblaster, Rachael Arblaster, Brandon Bates, Carson Bates, Sarah Arblaster and Andrew Bates; and three brothers, Jackie Bice of Liberty, Mark Bice (Tammy) of Pickens and Greg Bice of Greenville.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by a granddaughter, Rebecca Arblaster.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, January 6, 2018 in the chapel of Robinson Funeral Home-Downtown, with entombment to follow in Hillcrest Memorial Park Mausoleum.

The family will receive friends Friday evening from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the funeral home.

Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made the American Cancer Society of Pickens County, 113 Mills Avenue, Greenville, SC 29605.

The family will be at the home.
